How would you describe your role and responsibilities at Sunrise Irrigation?
My role is centered around working in the field alongside production crews, where I train both new and current employees on Sunrise standards. I also help address any field-related concerns and provide support to Tanner as needed.
What do you enjoy most about working at Sunrise Irrigation?
What I enjoy most about working at Sunrise Irrigation is the company culture—we work hard, give back to our community, and are recognized and rewarded for doing so.
Are there any colleagues or mentors who have had a significant impact on your career here?
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to have had many incredible mentors, coaches, and supervisors. However, Joe and Deena truly stand out. Their knowledge, dedication, and mental fortitude are deeply inspiring. Every day I have the opportunity to work with them—or even just be around them—I grow, not only as a professional but as a person.
Tell me a bit about your background and where you’re from.
The CEO, Joe, has had a significant impact on my career. He gave me an opportunity during COVID to start a new career path and has been there every step of the way—helping me grow, offering guidance, and providing encouragement. I’m very grateful for his support.
What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I enjoy cooking and eating fresh food, as well as traveling throughout Florida and exploring different parts of the state.
What is your go-to comfort food or favorite local restaurant?
Don Pancho Villa in Clearwater for authentic tacos!
Who is the most influential person in your life and how have they inspired you?
My mother is the most influential person in my life. No matter what challenges she has faced, she has remained strong in her faith and persevered. She instilled those same values in me and is the foundation of my work ethic.
