Sprinkler Repair in Warm Mineral Springs

I had an appointment with Mr. James Atkins this morning at 11:00. He was right on time! After a quick review of my the issues regarding excessive water pooling on the side of the back yard and a drainage problem of the lanai channeling between the house and the pool; James provided several options that he recommended that would correct the problems. My main concern was the cost and the companies ability to perform the work so that it would not be a repeating problem. James represents Sunrise Irrigation in an outstanding manner. He was patient, professional and methodical as he worked out a tailored option that satisfied both of my concerns that Sunrise Irrigation can perform the work at a price point that was acceptable to me. It was also assuring to me that they provided annual followup preventative maintenance. If the actual worked is performed as we discussed I will be a very satisfied customer!

Technician A1A Joshua Fliss and Technician Mike Blier were assigned to the project which took 3 days to complete.
They did a great job! They Joshua and Mike were very polite and very professional. In fact I was so impressed with these two guys I sent a separate email to their supervisor sharing my appreciation for all their hard work under such extreme heat and humidity.

It is now 21 August 2026. I now have had an opportunity to evaluate how well the drainage in the lanai is performing as well as the excessive water pooling on the side of the house. Well after several weeks of heavy rain downpours I can now say it is a mixed bag. The channel removal and replacement with a dedicated sump pump for the lanai is working fantastic. Between the house there is still an unsatisfactory amount of water pooling. I contacted Sunrise Irrigation and scheduled another appointment which is scheduled for the 9th of September to assess the issue.

9 September 2026. I had a great meeting with Technician Brandon Tippett who successfully was able to assess the issue and provided a quote to to provide several additional Catch Basins with some additional drainage piping which would tie back into the sump pump that they had installed on the prior project to support the lanai drainage. I was offered some additional discounts which I appreciate as I had another smaller project that required drainage as well. Mr. Tippett conducted the assessment very professionally and was very honest regarding the assessment in which I believe he properly managed my expectations. At my request he provided several proposal options in order for me to evaluate which proposal option that way I wanted purchase. Great job Brandon!

In closing the Sunrise Irrigation System repairs and maintenance is not a cheap endeavor to invest in but when you consider all the work involved, employee benefits (such as health care and the retirement program they have to provide to their employees) in order to keep good people those cost have to be considered for a company. I still think that they are a just a little......bit overpriced..
